Jesus didn’t stay distant, abstract, or theoretical. God didn’t shout instructions from heaven—He showed up in a body. He took on real skin, real limitations, real life. And He didn’t arrive as a guest who passed through; He moved in. He chose proximity over power, presence over distance, relationship over spectacle.
To say Jesus “moved into the neighborhood” means He entered ordinary life—homes, streets, meals, friendships, suffering, joy. God came close. He lived where people lived.
That’s the heart of Neighbors Church.
Our vision—The Gospel on Every Street—flows directly from this truth. If Jesus moved into the neighborhood, then following Him means we do the same. We believe the gospel isn’t meant to stay inside church buildings or Sunday services, but to take root in everyday places—around tables, on sidewalks, in schools, workplaces, and living rooms. We’re learning to live the way of Jesus with real presence, so the good news of God’s love can be seen and felt on every street.

I believe in the slow work of God—rooted in presence, formed through community, and lived out in the ordinary. We’re not planting a church to build a platform, but to cultivate a people who walk closely with Jesus and bring His presence into the places they live and love.
I long for homes to become holy ground, for discipleship to be more than a class, and for neighborhoods to feel the quiet weight of the gospel through everyday faithfulness.
If I could name it in one breath: I want to lead a people who walk slowly with Jesus, love faithfully like Jesus, and live sent—right in their neighborhoods.
