What a night. Neighbors Church officially launched yesterday, and we’re still overwhelmed with gratitude for what God has done. For our first message, we sat in John 1:14: “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” Or as Eugene Peterson puts it, Jesus “moved into the neighborhood.” That’s the heart behind Neighbors Church.
We believe God is not distant. In Jesus, He came close. He entered our world, made His home among us, and now sends us to carry His presence into the places we already live. Our prayer is simple: That house by house, table by table, relationship by relationship, and street by street, the Gospel would take root.
We’re just getting started. Welcome to the neighborhood.
Just a little glimpse of what we’ve been dreaming about.
A room where neighbors become friends.
Where kids know they belong.
Where we slow down long enough to notice the presence of God.
Where there’s room to worship, pray, ask questions, and simply be.
Next Saturday, September 12, Neighbors Church launches at 6PM. We’ll save you a seat.
At Neighbors Kids, we believe our kids aren’t just the church of tomorrow, they’re part of what God is doing right now.
We’re creating a space where kids can encounter Jesus, ask big questions, experience wonder, build meaningful relationships, and discover what it looks like to follow Him in their everyday lives.
A place for the explorers, dreamers, builders, artists, readers, climbers, question-askers, and adventurers.
We want every child who walks through our doors to know:
You are known.
You are loved.
You belong here.
And Jesus is inviting you to follow Him.
Our hope isn’t simply to give kids something to do while the adults gather. We want to partner with families in forming a faith that is deep, resilient, and lasting. A faith they can carry with them wherever life takes them.
Neighbors Kids launches alongside Neighbors Church on Saturday, September 12 at 6PM.
We can’t wait to welcome your family and begin this journey together.

Together, we packed 250 Teacher Care Kits that are ready to be given to teachers in our community!
Every kit is a simple way of saying: We see you. We appreciate you. We’re for you.
Thank you to everyone who donated, packed, organized, and helped make this possible.
Community isn’t an extra in the Christian life. It’s part of the design.
This past Neighbors Social, we were reminded of that as we shared a meal, laughed together, met new friends, and watched neighbors connect. It was simple, but it was meaningful. Community doesn’t just happen. It grows one conversation, one meal, and one relationship at a time.
From the very beginning, God formed a people, not just individuals. We worship together, grow together, carry one another’s burdens, celebrate victories, and point each other toward Jesus.
You can love Jesus personally, but you were never meant to follow Him alone.
At Neighbors Church, we’re praying for more than a weekly gathering. We’re believing for a neighborhood where strangers become friends, friends become family, and together we become more like Christ.
Whether you’ve been in church your whole life or you’re just beginning to ask questions, there’s a place for you here.
You belong in community.
You belong in the neighborhood.
Join us on Sunday, August 16 for Neighbors Collection & Neighbors Social!

We’re not building a platform. We’re cultivating a people.
Every gathering, every conversation, and every shared meal is another reminder that God is already at work in our neighborhoods.
Thankful for everyone who joined us at our last Neighbors Social. We left encouraged, inspired, and expectant for what God is doing in Plum Borough.
One home. One table. One street at a time.
Come join us tonight for an evening of coffee, conversation, & community!
Meet the Masick family!
JC, Rachel, and Pryor. After a decade of missionary work in Boston, God has brought our family back to Pittsburgh, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
JC is joining the pastoral team at Neighbors Church, where he’ll continue his passion for shepherding people, building relationships, and helping others walk closely with Jesus. Having grown up in Pittsburgh, this season feels like a true homecoming, returning to the city that shaped him and now having the privilege of serving a new church community in the region.
Our family is committed to worship, servant leadership, and living as a testimony to God’s redemption and faithfulness. We believe some of the most meaningful ministry happens in the everyday moments of life, and we’re excited to walk alongside others as they discover the hope and beauty of Jesus.
We’re grateful to be part of the Neighbors Church family and look forward to meeting you!
Meet Jamin
Jamin is the Lead Pastor and Church Planter of Neighbors Church. He has spent the last several years serving in pastoral ministry with a passion for helping people encounter the presence of Jesus, experience authentic community, and grow as disciples.
Jamin and his wife, Bethany, have been married for 6 years and are raising their three boys; Lincoln, Hudson, and Atticus. Together, they are committed to loving their neighbors, serving their community, and helping people discover that following Jesus transforms everyday life.
Jamin’s heart is simple: to see the Gospel take root on every street and to help people move into the neighborhood like Jesus did. At Neighbors Church, he is passionate about creating a church where people can belong, be formed by Jesus, and join God’s mission in the world.
If you’re curious about Neighbors Church, looking for a church home, or interested in being part of our launch team, we’d love to meet you.

We don’t gather because it’s convenient.
We gather because it’s good.
Research keeps confirming what the church has always known: we flourish when we’re rooted in community, shaped by shared rhythms, and formed together over time.
If you’re longing for something more, you’re not alone.
🔸The gospel on every street🔸
Neighbors Church is built on three core values:

The Vulnerable Formation of People
The Incarnational Mission of Jesus

Together, let’s see the gospel take root on every street.
Welcome to Neighbors Church! 👋
Centered on Jesus.
Present in our neighborhoods.
For the good of our streets.
Because too many people feel unseen where they actually live.
Because faith often gets reduced to a moment instead of a way of life.
Because Jesus didn’t stay distant—He moved into the neighborhood.
Neighbors Church exists to help people encounter Jesus
not just on Sundays,
but in kitchens and carpools,
on sidewalks and streets,
in the ordinary rhythms of everyday life.
We believe the gospel belongs close to home.
On every street.
That’s why we’re here.
